Investigate the Frequency Effect to the Deformation and Vibration of Amorphous Steel Core Transformers

Magnetostriction force causes vibration and deformation on the steel core of the transformer. The frequency element is also an important parameter causing deformation and vibration in the transformer core. The article has built a mathematical model to investigate the effect of frequency on the deformation of the steel core of amorphous transformers. Simulation results by finite element method on Ansys Maxwell software, the largest core deformation occurs at 560Hz is
$17,25\mu \mathfrak{m}/\mathrm{m}$
. The investigate shows that the frequency affecting to the deformation and vibrations of the steel core occurs in the range of 450Hz to 750Hz. In addition, frequency range
$50\text{Rz}\leq \mathrm{T}\leq 350$
Hz deformation
$\epsilon_{\mathrm{m}\mathrm{s}} < 7\mu \mathrm{m}/\mathrm{m}$
and vibration is not significant. Determining the frequency and deformation position of the steel core will contribute to perfecting the production process and selecting amorphous steel core transformers to be installed in manufactories. other hand, when installing transformers for factories, it is necessary to measure and analyze harmonics of power source, and always attention to this frequency range to avoid the influence of harmonics causing strong magnetostriction force, breaking structure of the steel core.
