Optimal Scheduling Strategy for 5G Base Station Backup Energy Storage Considering Dispatchable Potential

With the swift proliferation of 5G technology, there’s been a marked surge in the establishment of 5G infrastructure hubs. The reserve power stores for these hubs offer a dynamic and modifiable asset for electrical networks. In this study, with an emphasis on dispatch flexibility, we introduce a premier control strategy for the energy reservoirs of these stations. To begin, an architectural blueprint for 5G hub power reserves is crafted. Next, factoring in the nuances of communicative load, we probe into the malleability and readiness of the 5G hub’s energy storage for deployment. Culminating our research, and with a keen insight into dispatch flexibility, a refined model for the integration of 5G hub reserves into the larger power network is formulated. Empirical evaluations underscore that synergized management of the 5G hub’s energy repositories not only curtails the operational expenses of these communication hubs but also stabilizes the broader electrical load, fostering a harmonious collaboration between the sectors.
