This paper includes a multidisciplinary analysis of optical technologies based on optical fibre and nanomaterials that integrate fundamental systems with optical monitoring systems for airplanes. The multifunctional coordination of optical filaments and nanomaterials in this composition makes it possible to inspect the aircraft's frame, detect flight conditions (from temperature and mugginess to pressure), use navigational sensors (such as gyrators and removal or position sensors), monitor the health of pilots, and create novel nanomaterials for use in aviation applications.
