A Low-Voltage Four-Quadrant Current-Mode Precision Multiplier/Divider Employing Single BiCMOS VDGA

This article presents a low-voltage current-mode multiplier/divider consisting of a single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA), without external passive devices, suitable for integrated circuit architecture. To achieve more precision operation and linear tunability, the VDGA circuit structure is modified using BiCMOS implementation. The proposed circuit acts as either a four-quadrant signal multiplier or signal divider, including an amplifier without having to modify any circuit structure. Moreover, the proposed circuit has no effect from temperature deviation due to internal temperature compensation of the VDGA. The circuit presented here consumes approximately 1.04mW of power consumption at supply voltage of
