Load Adjustable Potential Assessment Considering Load Flexible Control and Air Conditioner Load Response in Extremely Hot Weather

This paper presents a solution to achieve the purpose of reducing the load on the grid during extreme hot weather for the purpose of solving the current challenges of supply-demand imbalance during extreme weather. These challenges encompass load shifting for business and industry, and rigid loads to safeguard people's electricity consumption. In order to solve this type of problems, this paper proposes a load management method for adjustable potential assessment, which utilizes residential regulation, tapping load potential, and load flexible control measures to achieve the purpose of regulating conformity, and establishes a relevant model as well as a regulation scheme under this framework. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in extreme weather for the purpose of grid load reduction.
