Lightning Hazard Risk Assessment and Differentiated Lightning Protection Renovation Scheme for 10kv Typical Lines in Guangxi

Aiming at a 10kV distribution line in the mountainous area of Guangxi, this paper comprehensively considers the lightning activity, line structure and environmental characteristics in different sections of the line, and puts forward the relative lightning protection measures. Firstly, the basic information of the circuit is calculated, and the historical tripping and equipment damage data are analyzed. After a comprehensive analysis of the lightning hazard risk of the line, taking into account the ground lightning density, landform, ground resistance of the poles and towers and lightning resistance level of the line corridor, all the poles and towers in need of lightning protection transformation of the two lines are counted. According to several lightning protection measures, such as improving insulation level, reducing grounding resistance and installing lightning arrester, all the poles and towers are analyzed one by one, and the specific lightning protection measures for each pole and tower are proposed based on the field construction of the line and the economic conditions of the line transformation.
