Typical Defects Analysis of Hydro-Turbine Generator Units in a Large Hydropower Station

In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power station, it is important to find the typical defects in time and grasp the development law of the defects. The research makes a comprehensive analysis on the main defects of hydro-turbine generator units since it was put into operation for 10 years. Based on the longitudinal analysis, the distribution of typical defects, failure causes and failure principle of hydro- turbine generator units have been objectively analyzed from the time dimension, position dimension and process flow dimension, and preventive suggestions and measures have been put forward. Through the analysis and summary of this paper, it can provide a certain reference value for the operation, maintenance and technical transformation of the same kind of large hydropower station.
