Research on Control Strategy of Parallel Active Power Filter

With the large-scale use of various nonlinear loads, the significant increase in harmonic content in the power system has greatly increased pollution and reduced power quality. By analyzing the harmonic suppression methods of the power grid, it can effectively reduce line losses and losses of electrical equipment, improve power quality, and thus reduce direct or indirect economic losses. This article uses a three-phase uncontrollable rectifier circuit with resistance-inductance load as a nonlinear harmonic source and designs a parallel active power filter (APF) control strategy to suppress the harmonics. Through simulation experiments, the results show that the harmonic content can meet the national standard requirements after using the filter, and also verify the feasibility of the harmonic suppression scheme used in this article.
