Determine The Levels of Importance of Units In The Reliability Network

In this paper we will studied the following problems i.How to calculate the reliability for the complex system used in this paper? ii.How to find the importance of each component in the complex system? For question (i), we will study two methods for evaluating the reliability of a complex system, namely the pivotal decomposition method which depend on the component selection of the complex system, and the sum-of-Disjoint-products (SDP) method. As for the question (ii), the importance of each component present in the structure of the complex system was calculated according to the Birnbaum measure (single derivative), and thus we will find the level of each component and its impact on the system. Where importance is considered one of the methods to improve the reliability systems in general. This is done to determine the location of the concentration of compounds to achieve the maximum benefit from the improvement efforts.
