The Role of PLN to Support Green Industries

This research aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges in supporting the Green Industry in Indonesia through green industry certification. Green Industry is an effort to reduce negative impacts on the environment while maintaining sustainable economic growth. The research method used is a literature study. Data analysis is done qualitatively using a thematic analysis approach. The research results show that green industry provides important opportunities for PLN (state-owned electricity company) business. However, the research also identifies several challenges in implementing green industry certification. These challenges include high implementation costs, limited company resources and capacity. To overcome these challenges, recommended measures include providing incentives and financial support to companies, improving companies' access to resources and training, and simplifying certification processes by streamlining requirements and procedures. This research contributes to supporting the Green Industry in Indonesia through PLN's role. The findings of this research can be used as a basis for developing policies and strategies that support sustainable growth of the Green Industry in Indonesia.
