Dispersion and Consumption of Oxygen in the Main Sewer

The main collector of urban sewerage is the one that transports wastewater from a city to the wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater is made of polyphase mixtures where the fluid environment - water is predominant. The paper presents a simulation of Oxygenation Processes in the Sewerage Network. These works showed explicitly the complexity of the free-surface aeration processes in turbulent water flows.
