A Novel Control Strategy of Wind-Energy Storage Integrated System to Suppress Wind Power Fluctuation

In recent years, in order to deal with the problems of primary energy shortage and environmental pollution, the installed capacity of wind power has been rising, and the grid-connected scale has been increasing year by year. However, since the randomness and volatility of wind energy are more serious, it is of practical significance to inhibit the wind power fluctuation and reduce its impact on the safe and stable operation of the power grid. This paper proposes a wind - energy storage integrated system of wind turbine innovation model, the use of supercapacitor construction of the energy storage system to suppress the wind power fluctuations, this wind-energy storage integrated system is relatively flexible, can be separate scheduling and control of the generating unit, improve the reliability of the system. On this basis, the charging and discharging strategy of the energy storage system based on sliding average filtering is proposed, which uses the sliding average filtering technology to filter out the high-frequency component in the captured wind power, to obtain the power command of the grid-side converter, and to output the smooth wind power. Secondly, considering the charging state of the supercapacitor, a SOC recovery control strategy is proposed to make secondary corrections to the power commands of the grid-side converter to avoid overcharging and over-discharging of the energy storage system, so as to make the energy storage system operate stably for a long period of time. Finally, a real wind farm is used as an example for simulation analysis, and the simulation results verify the reasonableness and effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.
