A Review of the Security Challenges Mitigation in IoT Systems Via the Utilization of SDN Technology

The emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) has led to an increase in data streams, requiring new network architectures that can accommodate the mass number of connected devices. However, the heterogeneity and security issues of IoT devices pose significant challenges to network infrastructure. Software-defined networking (SDN) has emerged as a promising solution to mitigate IoT challenges. This paper presents an overview of the challenges facing IoT networks and the use of SDN as an emerging technology to address these challenges.
