Difference Analysis of Power Flow Calculation and Study of Power Flow Distribution Based on Newton-Raphson and PQ Decomposition Method

In the significant constructional period of new power system, the construction of a high proportion of renewable energy and power electronic equipment system with Double Carbon as the goal is the foundation to cope with the increasingly complex demand for electricity and the expanding scale of grid interconnection, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the power system. Nevertheless, there are still difficulties in real-time simulation of complex power grids and limitations in simulation accuracy in the field of analysis of stable operation of power systems. To address it, the power flow calculation is the most commonly method to determine the stable operation of power systems. In this paper, the IEEE9, IEEE14 and IEEE30 standard systems are selected as cases for study, and the Newton-Raphson method and the PQ decomposition method are used for comparing the differences in calculation time, voltage magnitude, voltage phase angle and the correlation between reactive power and voltage magnitude. The results indicate that the PQ decomposition method is faster than the Newton-Raphson method in terms of calculation speed; the errors in voltage magnitude and voltage phase angle are in the order of 10
