ALA-Rotor RSG 10MW, 480RPM-Preliminary Design with 2D Key FEM Validations

The paper proposes a solution for a high power wind generator with axially laminated rotor. The preliminary analytical design and the key FEM validations investigates if this solution could be a competitive one for wind generators system. Though the performance/cost is promising further, optimal design studies and scalable lab testing are still required to fully certificate the solution for applications.
