Flanging and forming of pipe fittings with rectangular magnetic collector

To improve the efficiency of pipe fitting flanging, the electromagnetic flanging scheme of pipe fitting with a rectangular magnet collector is proposed. A multi-physical field coupling model is constructed using COMSOL software, and the influence of the magnet collector on the flanging angle of the pipe fittings is analyzed. The study shows that the flanging angle is improved by 2.83 times after the introduction of the magnet collector based on the traditional pipe fitting flanging. The introduction of a magnet collector can significantly improve the electromagnetic flanging effect of traditional pipe fittings and promote the widespread application of pipe fittings flanging technology in the industry.
