Pick-up Coil Design for Weak Magnetization Measurement under Pulsed High Magnetic Field

Magnetization measurement is a classical physical quantity measurement under pulsed high magnetic field. In this paper, A method for measuring weak magnetization signal in pulsed high magnetic field is studied. The pick-up coil is usually used for magnetization measurement. The capacitance, inductance, and frequency characteristics of the pick-up coil are estimated by establishing physical models. The theoretical calculation and simulation results are in good agreement. The frequency response of the pick-up coil are confirmed by impedance analyzer. The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation. A set of most suitable pick-up coil size and turn number parameters are determined by this design method.
