Research on Intelligent Test System for Motor and Controller of Electrical Vehicle

The conventional motor and controller test platform of electrical vehicle is labor waste and energy consumption. A kind of automatic test system was proposed in the paper: the operational parameter of prototype motor and controller, measured by power analyzer, was transmission to industrial control computer through the network. The control software was developed based on Labview to realize the data display, analysis and storage. The power was fed back to the test system through the shared DC link bus, reducing the demand of the test system. A permanent magnet synchronous motor for pure electric bus wheel-side drive was tested by this system. Measured results showed that this system is suitable for mass production testing of electrical vehicle.
