Research on vibration noise characteristics of high-speed IPMSM for electric vehicles

The built-in permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) for electric vehicle vehicles shows a high-speed trend, and the high-frequency squawking problem is prominent. In order to study the influence of different current harmonics introduced by the inverter on the vibration noise of IPMSM in a wide speed range, this paper takes a 54-slot 6-pole IPMSM for example, firstly, establishes a mathematical model of current control in wide speed range, and analyzes the parameters of current harmonics introduced by the inverter by means of the joint simulation of “control-electromagnetism” and analyzes the parameters of current harmonics introduced by the inverter by means of the joint simulation model of “electromagnetic-structural”. Based on the “electromagnetic-structural” multi-physical domain joint simulation model, the noise characteristics of the current harmonics introduced by the inverter on the integer-slot multi-pole logarithmic IPMSM at high speed (20000r/min) are analyzed.
