Harmonizing Peace Engineering and Mind Engineering: A Lifelong Learning Approach for Sustainable Societies

In the pursuit of a sustainable civilization, a crucial component stands out: Peace Engineering. This discipline can play pivotal role in seamlessly integrating learning into our journey toward sustainability. The primary objective of this work is to underscore the crucial role of Peace Engineering in engineering education. Peace Engineering equips students with the ability to grasp the intricate social and political dynamics of their environment. To achieve this, our study introduces an empowering framework known as Mind Engineering. Mind Engineering involves the seamless integration of knowledge development, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) - based management models, and the systematic enhancement of the intellectual capabilities of a development team. This approach not only refines conceptual models but also fosters problem perception, quality, and creativity. The effectiveness of this approach hinges on the synchronization between Specialists and Engineers. It actively involves stakeholders, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and adopts a holistic engineering perspective that recognizes the importance of human values. This work was developed with the intent of facilitating the integration of various engineering disciplines for the purpose of executing interdisciplinary projects. By embracing Peace Engineering through Mind Engineering techniques, we not only address the challenges that threaten our civilization but also nurture the seeds of a prosperous and harmonious future for all of humanity.
