Study of Nitride Crack Reduction For Electronic Power Devices

This research uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to study the impact of different factors on SiN passivation stress in power MOSFETs during Temperature Cycling (TC) lifetest, including power metal thickness, different clip designs, and EMC selection. The FEA results are also compared with TC results obtained from experiments.
