Robust Wireless Power Transfer System Using Gain Element as Source for Conformal Application

In this letter, we study wireless power transfer (WPT) systems with the gain element as source (GES). Using planar or cylindrical coils as transmitter and receiver, parity time (PT) symmetric and non-PT symmetric states of wireless power transmission systems based on magnetic resonance coupling (MCR) are analyzed and verified. Both theoretical and measured results show that whether the system is PT symmetric or not, the resonant frequency of the real spectrum and robust transmission efficiency can be obtained. This relaxes the restriction that the coils of

$R_{x}$
must be consistent with each other in a robust WPT system, which can provide a reference for robust wireless charging technology with conformal applications.
