Design and Development of Hybrid Solar-Wind Tree

Electricity is indispensable to our daily lives. There are two categories of energy sources: conventional energy sources like diesel, coal, and nuclear power, and Renewable Energy Sources (RES) like wind, solar, and tidal power. People are being forced to switch to sustainable energy sources as a result of the high demand for electricity and the diminishing supply of conventional energy sources. Hence, this paper emphases primarily on the design and development of a hybrid wind-solar tree structure that incorporates wind and solar energy technology to produce electricity. As solar and wind are intermittent by nature, the solar PV and wind turbines are combined in an artificially designed tree to generate energy in hybrid mode throughout the day. This strategy, if implemented correctly and utilized efficiently, will be of great assistance in reducing electricity costs and living an eco-friendly lifestyle. This hybrid tree can be planted in parks, on residential rooftops, along roadways, and even in the grounds of industrial facilities, where it will generate electricity and enhance the visual appeal. The hybrid tree can also be deployed by street vendors to light bulbs and power tiny loads.
