Analyzing Dynamic V2X Scenarios through Channel Correlation Metrics

In this paper, we analyze a measured time-variant channel impulse response of a dynamic driving maneuver at an urban intersection in the context of V2X communication. Channel correlation metrics are introduced to identify segments with similar channel conditions. The impact of different correlation cut-off levels on segment identification is discussed. The resolved segments can be used in the future to generate channel models for conformance testing of real chipsets.
