Application of ITS Research Laboratories in the Field of Cooperative Systems

The article considers the possibility of evaluating the operational performance of intelligent transport system (ITS) subsystems and their individual elements with the help of mobile research laboratories. Conducting operational tests is an important part of monitoring the quality of ITS projects, and the results of such tests can be used to justify modernization projects. Research laboratories can be completed in various configurations. For example, a complex consisting of laboratories conducting tests related to communication and communication in ITS projects can be formed. Separately described laboratories such as cooperative intelligent transport system (C-ITS) mobile laboratory, laboratory of communication systems and high-precision positioning, information security laboratory, laboratory of V2X service platforms and highly automated vehicle (HAV) laboratory. The article also lists the main key performance indicators (KPIs) that can be determined using the laboratories listed in the article.
