Sensitivity Analysis of Decision Support Systems for Selection of Achievement Students Using the TOPSIS Method

Students are the primary players in the educational process, and they are supposed to develop into good citizens. One method of determining success is to assess student accomplishment levels using certain criteria. As a result, we require a solution that can accomplish this in a Decision Support System (DSS). Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is one of the approaches that uses data and was computed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The chosen alternative must have the lowest distance to the positive ideal solution and the greatest distance to the negative ideal solution, according to this method's basic concept and computing technique. In some circumstances, determining the best appropriate strategy might be tricky. As a result, a sensitivity test is required to calculate the proportion of the test's sensitivity of both the TOPSIS and SAW techniques in addressing the following scenarios based on the position of each option. The TOPSIS technique had a sensitivity test percentage of 4.92%, whereas the SAW method had a sensitivity test percentage of 4.62%. As a result of the sensitivity test, TOPSIS is the best strategy for picking excellent pupils.
