A High Adaptability Equivalent Algorithm for Wind Farm Based on Track Sensitivity

The integration of wind power into the power system is becoming increasingly evident as the installation of wind power continues to expand. Due to the inherent volatility and uncertain nature of renewable energy, accommodating large-scale wind power is a challenge, and the risks for safe and stable operation of the power system are also increasing, such as system oscillation caused by weak inertia. Considering that there are usually dozens or even hundreds of wind turbines in a wind farm, which leads to the high order wind farm models in the detailed modeling with complex coupling between wind turbines, an reasonable and effective equivalent model of wind farms is the basis for studying the oscillation mechanism, characteristics of power system. Therefore, this article proposes a high adaptability equivalent algorithm for wind farm based on track sensitivity and parameter identification. The simulation results show that the equivalence way proposed in this paper reflect the dynamic characteristics accurately of doubly fed wind farm grid points.
