Optimal Allocation Method of Harmonic Monitoring Points Considering Distributed PV Access

With the application of distributed PV in the power system, the large number of power electronics contained in the distributed PV grid connection can affect the power quality and lead to the generation of harmonics. In this paper, an optimal configuration method of harmonic monitoring points considering distributed PV access is proposed, while node vulnerability assessment indexes are also introduced to increase the reliability of the configuration scheme. First, the distribution network node degree, electrical medium, cohesion and tightness are used as node vulnerability indicators, and then the vulnerability of each node is obtained based on the entropy weight method; then, considering the randomness of light intensity, calculate the harmonic voltage distortion rate at each node caused by the harmonics generated by PV grid connection in different time periods, and form the harmonic observable matrix; finally, the harmonic monitoring point configuration is obtained by solving the genetic algorithm Finally, the harmonic monitoring point configuration is obtained by genetic algorithm solution. The genetic algorithm used in this paper is compared with other optimization algorithms, and the superiority of this configuration scheme is verified by the faster calculation speed of the genetic algorithm.
