Design methodology for heat transfer system with low-cost perspective

This paper develops an analysis of the performance and feasibility of an absorption refrigeration system powered by biogas as a source of heat generation applied to a quail farm. For this, an exhaustive review was carried out highlighting similar configurations of several generation sources, to obtain a better panorama when using biogas as a source for heat generation and achieve an equal better fit to a referential coefficient of operation (COP) of 0.1 to 0.13 of the proposed system based on the reviews presented considering the cooling of the environment between 20°C and 25°C. The findings are a lithium bromide solution, it was adequate for the operation of the system due to its great absorption capacity as indicated by its coefficient of performance (0.6 - 1.4). The thermodynamic analysis for the design of this proposed refrigeration system has been carried out, considering the parameters and flow points, temperature, pressure, etc. A COP of 0.8294 is obtained and the thermodynamic analysis, the volumetric consumption of biogas increases in the concentrator and/or burner of the heat generator, the power generated as the burner temperature increases and finally the increase in temperature depending on the volumetric consumption of biogas.
