An Approach to Solution to Problem for Restoring Sources of Special Type in Parabolic Equation

We consider the inverse source problem for a parabolic partial differential equation in the work. We determine unknown coefficients in the right-hand side of the equation. The specific characteristics of the problem is that the identified parameters depend only on a space variable and are factors of the coefficients of the right-hand side of the equation, moreover, to restore the coefficients, observations are implemented at given moments of time, the number of which may exceed the number of restored coefficients. We suggest a numerical method for solving the inverse source problem, which is based on using the method of lines and a special expression of a solution. The suggested method restores the coefficients without iterative procedures. The results of carried out computer experiments are presented.
