On the Use of Delayed State Information for Optimal Control Synthesis

In the paper, we propose an approach to feedback control for distributed parameters systems by the example of the rod heating process. To form the control actions, we propose to use the process’s state at the measurement points both at the current time moment and at some past time moments. We derive formulas for the objective functional’s gradient with respect to the feedback parameters, and formulate necessary optimality conditions.
