Research on Displacement Measurement Device Dropped with UAV to Apply to Monitoring Geologic Hazard near Pylons in Sichuan-Chongqing Aera

It is necessary to monitor geologic hazard near pylons in Sichuan-Chongqing aera by means of displacement measurement. A Displacement Measurement Device (DMD) dropped with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) should be designed and implemented because it is very difficult to mount the device on the steep mountain. Difference position technology applys in the DMD based on the Beidou satellite navigation system. The appearance of DMD is regular tetrahedral which is very stable when the device lands on either side dropped with UAV. The antennas of the DMD are placed in a sphere which always face the satellite because the spherical structure like a roly-poly toy standing still. The DMDs are mounted on the H08 landslide and H10 landslide, which are potential landslide near pylons in Sichuan-Chongqing aera. The DMDs are dropped with UAV and now are running stably.
