Characterization of kinesthetic motor imageries for right-handed people

Divergent results and characteristics have been reported in different studies for brain activity when imagining the same movement using kinesthetic motor imagery (KMI). This inconsistency may be linked to how individuals perform kinesthetic motor imagery, which has not been discussed in previous research. In our previous study, we categorized kinesthetic motor imagery into double-hand and single-hand kinesthetic motor imagery and investigated whether there are differences between these types of KMI. In the present study, we continue to investigate and evaluate the effects of different ways of performing KMI by using time-frequency analysis and classification evaluation.
