Research and Verification of Local Thermal Fault Simulation Test Platform in Power Transformer Oil

The analysis of dissolved gas in oil is very important to ensure the safe operation of power transformer. At present, the analysis methods based on dissolved gas in oil still need a lot of fault simulation data to improve and further improve the fault diagnosis rate. Aiming at the simulation requirements of local overheating fault in oil, this paper carried out functional analysis of local overheating fault simulation test platform in power transformer oil, designed four main modules, electrical circuit, temperature control circuit, circulation circuit and simulation tank system, built a physical test platform for local overheating fault in power transformer oil, and carried out heating performance and gas production verification tests of the test platform. The heating test shows that the test platform in this paper can reach a local overheating of $300^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$ within 20min. The local overheating test shows that the test platform can effectively produce dissolved gas in oil, and the gas type and content are consistent with the analysis results of the three-ratio method, which verifies that the test platform can effectively simulate the local overheating fault.
