Design of Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits Bandpass Filters on GaAs pHEMT

This paper presents the results of a centimeter band bandpass filters study. Bandpass filters (BPF) of different types were considered: based on interdigital, hairpin and open-loop resonator microstrip structures, as well as on lumped elements. The investigated filters are made in the form of microwave monolithic integrated circuits (MMIC) based on the GaAs pHEMT technology. They provide filtering in four sub-bands of the 5.8 … 18.2 GHz frequency band. Comparative characteristics of the filters are also given in this article, which allows us to make a rational choice of the BPF scheme during developing.
