Adaptive Fuzzy Control for Full-State Constraints Twin Otter Aircraft with Actuator Failure

This paper addresses the tracking problem of a twin otter aircraft, which is limited by full-state constraints and actuator failures. These constraints and failures are crucial factors in enhancing the safety of aircraft systems during operation. Firstly, we design a new class-weighted parameterized model based on vector norm to handle the weight vector of fuzzy logic systems. Secondly, we develop a barrier Lyapunov function using a backstepping strategy and propose a potential energy equation within a preset boundary. Subsequently, the study strictly proves the sustained tracking performance of the system under full-state constraints, and all closed-loop signals are globally bounded, which can ensure the tracking error in the predetermined set. Finally, the established theory is verified by controlled experiments.
