Design and Verification of Online Dialogue Promoting Deep Learning Supported by Intelligent Technology

Intelligent learning environments supported by intelligent technology extend the traditional face-to-face dialogues and communication methods, expand the space of intelligent learning, and serve as a bridge to stimulate learners' higher-order thinking and realize the transition from shallow learning to deep learning. The study takes “online dialog” as the perspective to design an online dialog mechanism that promotes deep learning, and carries out teaching practice based on the smart learning environment. Using pre and post-test analysis, content analysis and other methods, the study analyzes the learners' deep learning methods, cognitive structure changes and dialog content, and finds that the online dialog mechanism facilitates the gradual migration of learners' learning methods from shallow to deep, the gradual extension of cognitive structure from single and multiple structures to related and abstract structures, and the gradual change of the depth of students' dialog content from conversational discourse to instructional discourse. The findings of this study provide a guiding path for exploring the implementation of online dialog courses for deep learning.
