A Study of the Reliability of Processing the Results of Assessing Biomarkers of Human Longevity

Sometimes, the results of medical and biological works are based on the incorrect use of statistical methods. This can lead to false results and send research down the wrong path. Valid diseases and longevity biomarkers, when delineated, would enable the assessment of biological age and life expectancy, the evaluation of strategies intended to retard aging, and the standardization of studies in aging research and diseases. The paper considers only one-way analysis of variances (One-way ANOVA) for independent groups. It is proposed to use ANOVA to analyze the reliability of studies of biomarkers of human diseases and longevity. Identification and measurement of biomarkers associated with longevity will permit more accurate estimates of biological age that will inform better guidance for appropriate health screening as well as guidance for anticipatory health discussions.
