Application of the PROMETHEE Method with Missing Criteria Values

The absence of some part of the data in their original sets can lead to problems in the analysis of these data. In particular, the absence of certain criteria values in multicriteria decision-making can not only complicate the process of analyzing alternative solutions, but also the choice of the optimal solution can become incorrect. This article presents the application of the PROMETHEE method to select the optimal solution in the absence of some values of the evaluation criteria. The PROMETHEE method refers to methods of multi-criteria decision-making based on estimates of the degrees of mutual superiority of alternatives in the Pareto set.
