Hints on Using CIC-based FIR Filters in Practice

This paper presents some hints on using new designed Cascaded-Integrator-Comb (CIC) filter functions in practice. After design the obtained filter coefficients are used in MATLAB built-in functions to filter some input signals. The filters are implemented using an efficient polyphase FIR decimation or interpolation structure.
