Joint Monitoring Scheme for PMD Compensation with ML-MIMO in Transceiver Hardware Impairments Scenario

We propose a multi-layer filter architecture for compensating and monitoring impairments in transceiver, as well as polarization mode dispersion (PMD) during transmission. Through simulation, we demonstrate that our adaptive ML filter effectively compensates for impairments in Tx, Rx, and DGD while enabling their monitoring.
