Laboratory Equipment for the Solar Power Plants Studying

The paper presents the experience of developing and implementing a solar power plant in the laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering of Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University. The structure of the educational and research complex, its composition are considered. The main technical characteristics of the components of the solar power plant are given. The functional capacity of the developed equipment for the organization of a laboratory workshop is shown, in particular, when measuring the current and voltage at the output of a solar inverter using the Fluke 434 network parameters analyzer. The experimentally obtained values of the amount of electricity produced by a single-phase solar network inverter PIKO-2.0 from KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH company (Germany) connected to the university network are presented. A comparative calculation of the economic efficiency of this type of micro-electric power plant was carried out.
