Optimization Terms of Equipment Replacement Based on the Profit Intensity Criterion

optimizing the terms of equipment (in particular, electrical) replacement is relevant from a practical (due to the wear and tear of many types of domestic equipment) and theoretical (due to the uncertainty of this issue) points of view.In the relevant literature there is still no consensus even on the fundamental question of the criterion of optimality itself - which indicator to consider as a priority, over what period of time to form it, to what (to an individual piece of equipment or to a chain of successively replaceable instances) to apply it.It has been established that the most appropriate indicator for use as a criterion is the intensity of profit (profit per unit of time) from the chain of successively replaced pieces of equipment: profit as such provides a comparison of income and costs; considering not only a given instance of equipment, but their sequential chain implements a systematic approach, allows you to reflect moral and more correctly take into account physical wear and tear; dividing the amount of profit by the time it is received is necessary to overcome the difficulties associated with the unlimited planning period. optimization according to this criterion provides a significantly greater - in comparison with decision-making according to other criteria - total profit over a significant period of time.The optimality condition for the equipment operation term according to the adopted criterion is found analytically, its visual interpretation, substantiating a graphic method of solving this optimization problem, is given. The factors forming the chosen optimality criterion are established, and their influence on the equipment operation term optimal according to this criterion is determined.
