Design and Structural Investigation of CuIn(Ga)Se2 Films for Solar Energy Applications

In this article, a simple synthesis method for polycrystalline CuIn(Ga)Se2 - liquid phase pulverization - is presented. A dense CuIn(Ga)Se2 layer with a granular structure was obtained and its polycrystallinity was confirmed by XRD analysis. The absence of peaks from the secondary phases of CU

Se confirmed the effectiveness and quality of the proposed synthesis method. The proposed method has the potential for industrial-scale use in the production of thin-film solar cells based on CuIn(Ga)Se2.
