Effect of SU-8 Encapsulated AgNPs on the Performance Enhancement of CH3NH3PbI3 Perovskite Photodetector

Utilizing the local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) from metallic particles is a promising strategy for improving light absorption efficiency in optoelectronics. However, the optoelectronic devices based on this strategy still suffering from the charge recombination at the metallic surface and seriously influence its actual result. Here, the SU-8 photoresist has been applied as an encapsulation layer onto silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and combined to optimize the performance of perovskite photodetector. Profiting by the cooperation of AgNPs and SU-8 photoresist, the photoelectric conversion has been optimized while the charge recombination has been hindered effectively. And eventually realize a 352.6% enhancement of photocurrent under same device construction and illumination condition.
