Design And Development of Cerebral Stroke Prediction System

Brain stroke is one of the leading non- communicable diseases causing disabilities with a high mortality rate. Early screening of stroke is of utmost importance as the onset of the disorder with delayed diagnosis may cause irrecoverable damage to the brain and the nervous system. The present study aims to predict the onset of cerebral stroke through non-invasive load cell sensors and strain gauges. Further, a quantitative estimation of the degree of nerve/muscle weakness was achieved from the contralateral sides of the lower and upper limbs that check the body imbalances through the numerical display. Thus, the designed stroke prediction system could be used as a cost-effective screening system for massive community-based health screening.
