Self-cleaning surfaces based on TiO2 – g-C3N4 composites

The development and the use of Vis-active materials is intensively investigated in photocatalytic applications such as advanced wastewater treatment and self-cleaning surfaces. This work reports on self-cleaning surfaces using composite materials based on titanium dioxide as matrix and graphitic carbon nitride as filler. The hydrophilicity of these materials was investigated to outline the self-cleaning features of the composites along with the photocatalytic activity and Vis-activation of the composites.
