Terahertz Pump/X-ray Probe Experiments At LCLS

We will give a summary of THz experiments using ultrafast x-ray pulses from free electron lasers as a probe. The first part will be a brief review of our past and current capabilities at SLAC and highlight results that we were able to achieve during the first ten years of operation of LCLS. The second part of the talk will focus at the the future capabilities of LCLS-II (which is coming on-line this year) and how we will scale to much higher repetition rates to enable new and exciting science.
