Development of Clinical Clerkship Rotation Information System

The final stage of the medical professional study program is the clinical clerkship, which takes place in a clinical setting. The clinical clerkship is a two-year process that involves rotating between different stages. The scheduling of clinical clerkship rotations in nearly every teaching hospital in Indonesia is done manually. The manual process presents challenges in determining groups, managing group rotation, documenting attendance, and incorporating assessment into the process. This article demonstrates the process of developing a clinical clerkship rotation application using the extreme programming method. The objective of this research is to develop an information system for the clinical clerkship rotation process, which occurs within the medical professional education program. After the exploration phase was completed, a total of 23 user stories were collected. The priority and duration of each story were then determined. The results of the functional test indicate that 23 features successfully fulfill the requirement.
