SDA Plus: Improving the Performance of the System Determine Algorithm (SDA) of the Switching Between AES-128 and AES-256 (MOLAZ Method)

There are many encryption algorithms; some of them are strong but slow in decryption, unlike other methods. The MOLAZ method is one of the encryption techniques in UUM’s thesis - 2010 used to improve the difficulty of protecting information while preserving the speed of encryption and decryption. This approach involves alternating utilization of two algorithms, AES-128 and AES256, to integrate them within the encryption procedure of a single plain text. The MOLAZ method depends on the SDA algorithm to organize all operations of the encryption/decryption. However, the biggest challenge is that SDA performs the segmentation, distribution, and aggregation operations sequentially, making the time loss cost significant, especially if the data volume is enormous. In this study, The SDA was developed and usually designed to segment the system's work in parallel, where the time and complexity of encryption are shortened by the MOLAZ method. The system generates sub-systems that operate independently without referring to the central system. In particular, saving hardware resources while implementing 256-bit AES and 128-bit AES modules is made possible by reducing the processing time. Most of the modules created can be used for AES encryption and decryption. Besides, the architecture will also provide a fast data rate in encoding and decoding. So, take advantage of the power of AES-265 and the speed of AES-128 in the presence of big data; that is why developed SDA. The proposed architecture is ideal for applications critical to encrypting and decrypting massive data in the hard disk etc.
